Deliverance & Healing for our whole family!

Back in April, I noticed the baby scratching the back of her head and discovered she had eczema! It was especially bad on her “stroke bite” (temporary birth-mark common on a baby’s neck / head). I tried various toxic-free creams and essential oils. I was told “eczema is caused by gluten” but I had not eaten gluten in almost 3 years, and the baby had never even touched it.

Our counselor, who also does the deliverance ministry, said eczema is a result of anxiety. But the baby is so happy and feisty. She doesn’t act like she has anxiety.

However, Duane and I had a substantial amount of stress while I was pregnant with her. Duane flat on his back in pain, the baby’s diagnosis with Treacher-Collins Syndrome, moving to a new house, pre-term labor scares, getting sent to Portland to wait for the baby to be born, hotel-hoping and not being able to find a place to stay, and then living at the Ronald McDonald House for almost a month while wondering if the baby would be able to breathe or need surgery right away at birth.

Even in utero, babies are affected by their parent’s stress. Little Pip-Squeak’s eczema is proof that is true. But now the eczema is gone and even the temporary birth mark is fading away! Deliverance and healing is not just for Duane & I, it’s for the whole family!

I share this not only as another testimony of how deliverance has brought healing for our family. But also to say, the Bible is true, when talks about the sins of our fore-fathers effecting future generations. Even “little” sins such as worry and fear (not trusting God) gives the enemy legal access to wreak havoc in our lives and the lives of our children.

If we had not done deliverance, Ariasha could have grown up suffering with eczema, and if her children ended up with it too, we would have just said, “I guess eczema runs in the family.”

Anything, which “runs in the family” but is not healthy, good, and life-giving, probably isn’t from God and needs to be broken off.
